This year in Ghana, we are building a water fountain in a small village called Asisiriwa, in partnership with 'Madamfo' charity group.
The project began in April, 2016. The village has over 3,000 inhabitants and one water fountain. When that one fountain breaks, the inhabitants have to travel to the next village over one hour away for water.
The project aims to provide a convenient, safe and clean water source for the village, while at the same time it provides women the chance to use this time more efficiently and children to learn rather than walk miles to get water.
